Holly Aiken's new Raleigh, NC home at DECO

Two well-known downtown Raleigh names are joining forces. On Labor Day, September 2, 2019, a celebration kicks off a “store within a store” when the full collection of Holly Aiken bags and accessories will be available at Deco Raleigh.

Earlier this year our retail store and manufacturing studio, Stitch, moved from downtown Raleigh to Wilmington, NC. However, it was not long after the move that Holly met with Deco owner, Pam Blondin, to discuss creating a Stitch-like experience under Deco’s new roof at 207 South Salisbury Street, and a fashionable new partnership was born!

Though our business is based in Wilmington, NC now, it was born in Raleigh. Leaving the city altogether was never our plan, and the partnership with Pam and Deco allows us to stay connected with our Raleigh customers. Our boutique at Deco will be roughly the size of Stitch and will include several hundred style and color combinations.

“Deco celebrates local designers and makers,” says Blondin. “No local designer has had a bigger impact on Raleigh than Holly Aiken. She was a retail pioneer downtown, and it’s safe to say that Deco wouldn’t be here if Holly hadn’t recognized an opportunity, and taken the risk, all those years ago.”

Holly Aiken Bags will once again have a full-service Raleigh location to purchase handbags and accessories and create one-of-a-kind custom orders at the in-store design station.

Everyone is invited to celebrate this exciting new partnership between Holly Aiken and DECO on Labor Day, September 2 at DECO Raleigh, 207 South Salisbury Street, Raleigh, North Carolina, 11:00am to 7:00pm. The celebration will include refreshments and door prizes.

DECO is open 11 am to 7 pm Monday through Saturday, and 11 am to 5 pm on Sundays.
